I also wonder about the early version of "No-One Driving". It's absolutely Mr Foxx singing, but the pitch is strange, as though the mastering has taken place at slightly the wrong speed.
This was, I believe, the single version of
No-one Driving, where the beeb (or more probably a particularly loathsome DJ with the initials MR) decided that to 'go liquid in the sheets' was clearly a suggestion that was going to corrupt Britain's youth and asked for it to be changed to 'missing' for the general release.
