Might this be an appropriate time to reiterate that I bought mine from Asda... for £5.49?

eek

It's got to be worth at least that to any Foxx fan.

(admittedly, they haven't posted it yet, but isn't today the official release date anyway?)

I also wonder about the early version of "No-One Driving". It's absolutely Mr Foxx singing, but the pitch is strange, as though the mastering has taken place at slightly the wrong speed.
This was, I believe, the single version of No-one Driving, where the beeb (or more probably a particularly loathsome DJ with the initials MR) decided that to 'go liquid in the sheets' was clearly a suggestion that was going to corrupt Britain's youth and asked for it to be changed to 'missing' for the general release.

Showing my age here cool

Anyway - this is a great CD, not least for the booklet with quality photos.

Where is the version of Cities of Lights from? It's wonderful.

Well if it helps, hes older than you and hes far from 'loathsome'. Hes one of the nicest and non bias people in radio. Especially that area. smile

Yes, there are plans - but time ran away with us to have it 'sorted' in time for the release date...

It's from the forthcoming re-issue of The Pleasures of Electricity.

Oh well I have Vienna & RIE arrive today so that's some consolation. smile

I just received an email from Asda, saying they hadn't even received it from "the suppliers". I guess that translates to "You'll be lucky to get it by the weekend".

That's better than the answers I get when I inquire about it. frown
