TQT - are you chewing? See me after.

Didn't mean to be all tweed and elbow patches. But what makes everyone laugh - Did JF trip up? Did Louis moon the audience? Did someone shout for Underpants?

*stern face* Answers in neat handwriting by tomorrow please and no talking at the back of the class now...

But keep in mind that publicity has been pretty much limited to Rob's emails and announcements. Someone not associated with this site may not have the slightest clue that the CD exists or where to order it from. If bidders did a random eBay search for "John Foxx CD" they might be surprised to find the listing for this new thing called "ANKOM" which doesn't show up anywhere else they regularly look (it's not on Amazon, for instance). They might think it was a special limited edition that had to be grabbed up at any cost.

That's what I said. Good point.
But..

Wouldn't you like to think that anybody looking to buy a John Foxx CD or new material from him would come here first??? eek

I don't like the idea of people being ripped off, but I guess it's reassuring to see that some people are willing to pay over the odds for a CD.

It would however, be nice to think that this site would be anybody's first point of contact. Followed of course, by mine! wink

You'd like to think so - and it's not as though it's a secret when you consider how many people are on the Metamatic News E-Mailing list.

Like, how many? ..just curious.
I think the myspace page was/is a good idea too.
