Well if my dad had the great taste you have when I was a teenager Mark, I would have been pinching from his record collection all the time... laugh wink [/b]
I wish that were the case, Quiet. But Robert is in Equador, so he hasn't got it. Shaun is into R&B, speed garage & a bit of dance music, so he hasn't got it, and Adam is into rock, so he hasn't got it. The mis-placement is down to me & I can't think for the life of me where the disc is.

It's so frustrating.

Hah! I found it. 'In A Silent Way' is much better than 'Underwater Dreamsex', which I'm not keen on. I stopped listening to it around the 4 minute mark. If I was in a different mood then I would assume that I could appreciate UD, much more. IASW is very uplifting.

Glad you found it.
I have a similar dilemma actually, whcih I don't appreciate being reminded of mad
A month or so ago I opened the case to play "The Pleasures of Electricity" and eek frown the CD was missing.

I remain hopeful that NOT looking for it will increase the chances of it turning up somewhere eek

HEH! That's exactly the line I take on missing CDs too! Almost like Dirk Gently's approach to driving!

Having listened to the two back to back, not that I needed to, my favourite is still 'In A Silent Way' - you do realise that if Ladytron or Hot Chip released this it would be a Top10alltimeclassicSmasheyandNiceyalltimesynthpopRadio1fave™ don't you?

I have a cunning plan...

It involves the words: 'Petition','Foxx' 'In A Silent Way' 'Download' 'Single' 'Now'...but not necessarily in that order wink

Yes yes, indeedly I am waving the same flag.
Or at least I was. A year ago.

Boats have sailed from harbours since then, and some folk chose not to be on the quayside.

"sign", "pen", "of course", "point", "missing"

Retro releases and album tours are great, and emphasise the thirty year old quality of the material.

BUT Some artists are STILL AS GOOD now, if NOT BETTER.
What happened to the wonder of NOW ???

Same as it ever was

Translucense for me too. As Craig said I like the Piano too.

And for the other question: I prefer Underwater Dreamsex. wink
