In part, those high prices reflect the current state of the music industry. Crap groups/musical advisors/companies have ruined the business.

Now, when something of quality comes around, look how high the "used" prices are when they become out of print.

There are many cds I would love to buy, but for 200-300 pounds, who is crazy enough to buy a cd, especially a single.

Look at it like this: John Foxx = 200-300 pounds
Sting = .50 pence

Kind of states reality in a way though, doesn't it?

Perhaps in the near future when MP3s remove the need for any hard formats at all, those hard to find CDs will become the new choice of prized art!

I can imagine art thefts in all the galleries across Europe, as wealthy industry magnates try to get their hands on the last remaining copy of 'Live From A Room...' wink

Get it now before Abramovich does! laugh
