Music For Buildings

Italian architect Antonino Cardillo has contacted us to say that the Translucence album by John Foxx and Harold Budd has inspired his latest design, Ellipse 1501. You can see it on www.antoninocardillo.com - the house can be viewed on the last button on the right while listening to 'Spoken Roses' from Translucence.

Amazing minimalist designs inspired by Mr Foxx.

"Music for Buildings" would make a good album title.

Actually Cathedral Oceans could have been called that

The title rings a bell somewhere else though.

'Music For Buildings', I like the song structure.

I googled it:-

http://www.notype.com/bricolodge/releases/brico017.html

Dont know if thats where I heard the term though.

Reminds me of a cross between 'Music For Films' and 'Life Without Buildings' (Japan).

Or Music for Airports and More Songs about Buildings and Food.
