Mine too! [/b]
Seems to be a recurring theme here - mine broke within a few times of use as well. frown

At least the disc itself is still pristine.

I prefer the color cases to the clear ones anyway and I can get them in bulk-ish amounts. What usually breaks with my cds is the round center thingy that holds the cd in. Usually always smashed.

I've never bought into this notion that "digipack" covers are somehow "like vinyl" - vinyl covers were 12 inches square!!
When a designer came up with an image that would look good on that size of canvas, it's generally not the same thing he would've chosen to put on a 5" size.
As all typographic pedants know, for instance, when you change the physical size of font glyphs, you don't just scale the exact same shape bigger or smaller - you actually make subtle changes to the glyph at different point sizes: an enormous 72pt Times Roman "JOHN FOXX" doesn't look identical to a tiny 6pt one. Philistines!

Anyways, my new hobby is surfing the web and dragging little JPEGs of cover art into iTunes to see on my iPod LOL
It is quite interesting cos especially when you have these CDs which collect so many bonus tracks from old singles - you can get all the single artwork (sometimes even front and back covers) and bung it in. I even found a site which had a photo of the yellow My Face flexi disc!! smile

I can relate to this. Come up against it all the time.
Ask for artwork for a sixsheet poster, you get an A4 document in Word. "Can't you just enlarge it.." mad

I was hoping the new Metamatic might be in a posh digipack. Would have been nice.
