Actually Alex that's a nice list with plenty of variety covering all Johns genre. The only changes I'd make for CO I'd make it track 12 on disc 1 and probably pick Golden Green from CO2 and move the other 3 upwards by one.

It's not easy picking 24 tracks.

I think from what Rob said, there will be a new compilation which will include the single version of 'No-one Driving', as it was not on the recent re-issue.

There are artists that have more compilations than studio and live albums put together. Although i doubt that will happen in Johns case.

I would be more interested in cds like the new 'Retro Future', where one concert per each previous tour could be released.

hmmm........why not release a best of cd and dvd combo, parts 1 and 2?

Ah right. Cracking version! Always preferred it to the album version, personally.

Album version for me, but its a great single mix.
Very open, a lighter sound than the darker version for 'Metamatic'.

The only bit I don't like about the single mis is the female vocal sample between verses. But musically I think it's much tighter and full sounding.

Yeah both are very different concidering their the same song and same structure.
Ive always wished there had been a single version of 'Underpass' too other than just the edit one.
