I would hazard a guess that the retitling of Stairway and the revised track order are signs of John's misgivings about the original record. Call it a "Director's Cut" perhaps.

I always thought Morning Glory sounded like he'd gone bonkers. As he waltzes away towards the end, I've always imagined him being dragged away in a white strait-jacket!

That said, I quite like most of it, but rarely listen to it right through.

Yep, ive always thought those words were a bit over the top, but that album does have some of Johns best vocals.
Hardly play it either these days, my fav track has always been the last one 'Enter The Angel 2'. Absolutely Good!

Morning Glory is marvellous,
it's one of the ones i'm hoping will make the set-list of the "Voted-for-by-metamatic" gig...

Personally I have no desire to see John's "Morning Glory", but each to their own, I suppose.....

i also think that it would be great to see & hear john ( & louis ) play @ least ONE song from the "in mysterious ways" album @ their ( most likely ) last gig this year - which one soever doesn't matter much for me anyway !
