On their way to me, I think?

Yep! Got postcards from Craig and Andreas to scan in. Unfortunately my laptop died last Sunday AND my main machine the following Thursday - how much bad luck in one go is that?!! I've managed to get a rush on having my laptop fixed so I'm kinda limping along at the moment, setting up software again. Once the scanner's up and running I'll scan the cards in.

Apologies to anyone who has sent in a photo or avatar, I've temporarily not got access to them as they were in my inbox on the main machine. Hopefully once it's fixed the contents of the hard drive will be intact and I'll be able to retrieve them again.

Sympathy to you Cerise, losing use of the computer in this day and age is like temporarily losing the use of your legs.

It is, isn't it?! LOL! Especially when you work from home of course, it's that dawning sense of panic when you realise that it really is dead, and so is your secondary machine. Not good, not good...

Found out today that it was the logic board that went ker-splat. Hey ho, at least the hard drives (and my mail) will be intact when I get it back, and it's all covered by AppleCare. I'm just glad I could 'bribe' them to fix my laptop quicker!

Glad to hear that your are nearly back up and running. I feel totally lost if my internet connection goes down for a couple of hours. You're right Craig. Nowadays it feels like you lost something if anything goes wrong with the PC etc.

Come on then folks, where are the discs at the moment?

Hi MemberD! All you have to do is supply your postal address to the person on the list before you (below) and you will receive the discs from that person. Make a copy for yourself, and AS QUICKLY AS YOU CAN, send the originals on to the next person who joins the list after you (if anyone does). If not, hang onto the originals until someone does.

Discs are (I think) with Ishikawa (UK), and then;
Fons (The Netherlands)
Psychocandy (Finland)
Furniture (USA)
MemberD (Italy)

Once you've received the CDs, send a postcard of your hometown to me (email me at ev@ultravox.org.uk for the address) and I'll scan it and post it on here!

I have two more cards to put up, will do so on Saturday.

I also have a new disc from Andreas to pass around to anyone who wants it, I'll post details then too.
