So, I wonder what we'll have to look forward to from John this year...?

So far it sounds like there will be:

• a free gig for From Trash t-shirt wearers
• release of the Gutherie collaboration album

Is there anything else at this point that is confirmed or rumoured for this year?

** to keep things in perspective, please don't litter this thread with a wish list ie Urban Motets etc!! **

As of yet, no, I don't think so - although I'm sure as/if things do come up we'll get to hear about them as soon they arrive either from Rob here at Metamatic or from Uncle Stevie on MySpace...

That's a very good point! There is a lot to digest. On the run up to Christmas I think I overdosed on Foxx, due to the amout of it that all appeared so soon.

I certainly think it will be a much quieter year, with maybe just one or two releases, but more live stuff like the CO and TCM shows.

Alex you forgot about the following:

1) Tiny Colour Movies DVD
2) Grey Suit Music

I´m intrigued by GSM.

Hi Chris,

I'm sure we've all heard the rumours of the TCM DVD but what is Grey Suit Music?

Brian

This is all the info I have but I'm sure it's been mentioned in one of his recent interviews. This one is from one of my recent posts '2004 Recordings under Harold Budd'.

On the LCMM Research Newsletter Scripsit Issue 8 February 2004, under Dennis Leigh, John Foxx himself writes:

"I started work on a new digital audiovisual projection project, Grey Suit Music."

I'll let Rob expand on this one or Steve in MySpace.

Anyone who attended the Brighton show will remember that John said that a DVD of Tiny Colour Movies is dependant on his being able to get certain copyright issues solved. So, although it's likely that there'll be a Tiny Colour Movies DVD at some point - it doesn't automatically follow that it'll be just yet.

I thought Grey Suit Music was some kind of new label/imprint...?

No, I understand that it's an album of instrumental music.
