Been to the premiere of this unique event (at my hometown!).
It was a true battle of a great orchestra with the music of Basement Jaxx, who attended the 'gig'.
Afterwards they told the audience they were very proud of the result. And they should!
It was far from 'A night at the proms' gig. It was a true musical adventure, with original guest vocalists. Once more it became apparent that music is a universal language with no bounderies in style or genre.
If you have the opportunity to see this show, go for it!
Especially when you're NOT a Basement Jaxx fan, 'cause you'll be surprised, I promiss!
