Mike who?
Well it's Deva Pramada actually.
He was born Mike but became Deva after he became a Buddhist.
He was part of ELO in the early seventies, where he played the cello, playing it with all kinds of fruit (!) while dressed up in Eno-esque glam outfits.
But here comes the curious part: he was hit by a bundle of hay, while driving down the A381, and died instantly.

A tragic story.

According to the BBC, the musician has yet to be 'formally identified'.

So how come they are allowed to name him in press releases...?

Thought maybe it was him out of Jesus Jones since he's been missing from the news (and the pop charts) for quite some time. (Does this mean there will be a Jesus Jones "No It Wasn't Me Who Got Run Over By Hay, It Was The Cello-Playing Dude Out Of ELO" reunion tour in the works?)
