Easy for me too.

The Durutti Column "Domo Arigato". I'm sure the polite Japanese audience helps.

The Cult Live at the Lyceum

Free with initial copies of Dreamtime

It is actually better than the studio version, way more energy!

Both my fave live albums are by bands a million miles removed from anything remotely Foxxy, though I have to say I've never been a huge fan of live albums in general.

Anyway, my two are:

Deep Purple - Made In Japan (1972). Recorded 38 years ago and you can still feel the raw energy in their performance. Includes the only version of the infamous 'Smoke On The Water' that's worth listening to (IMHO)

The Sensational Alex Harvey Band - Live. A band I would love to have seen live but never got the chance. This album contains stunning versions of 'Vambo' and the Lieber / Stoller classic 'Framed'

My girlfriend's daughter recently let me hear a live album by South Africa's only half decent band, The Parlotones, but I didn't enjoy it as much as their studio work and reminded me why I generally don't like live albums.

Roxy Music: Live

It's the 2001 world tour album.
Even better then Roxy's 'Viva' withe the famous Eddie Jobson electric violin solo on it!

But, like Bob above, I don't fancy live albums in general.
Perhaps because the antennas on our planet need maintenance ...

I'm not so much of a fan of live albums as I used to be. I'm more interested these days if it was from a tour I actually saw.

But anyway:

Peter Gabriel - Secret World Live & Plays Live
Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense
Gary Numan - Dark Light, White Noise & Shepherds Bush '98
Jean Michel Jarre - Hong Kong
Tori Amos - To Venus & Back disc 2
David Bowie - Stage
Kraftwerk - Minimum/Maximum

It has'nt arrived yet, but I am really looking forward to receiving the Charlatans Brixton Concert I went to last week (22/10) the setlist was outstanding and the band were in fine form.

Concert Live produced the 3 CD set ready for collection after the concert but knowing there would queues I opted for the postal delivery.

Each CD is 30 mins allowing them faster finalisation of the last CD at the end of the gig. Great idea. Nice memento.
