Yes I've been following the Oranje right from the start of the competition. It's about time you won the world cup,especially considering the vast array of brilliant players you have had over the years.

Holland will have my support on Sunday night. Their achievement in being one of world football's major forces for decades is amazing for a country their size. There simply has never been another nation the size of Holland that has managed anything like their long term residency among the big boys. In theory they should historically be on about a par with the likes of Belgium and Switzerland, and I've little idea why they aren't. So I will just admire them and wish them all the best. Albeit with a tinge of envy!

I shall be supporting Holland too. They've always played beautiful football.

Congratulations to both teams. With all respect to Spain I have to say I was really rooting for the Dutch. I had the great pleasure of visiting Amsterdam (albeit briefly) a few years ago and found it to be an absolutely beautiful place.

Boy am I glad Spain won - Holland were an absolute disgrace to the competition with there brutal tactics and should have had 2 others sent off as well.

Nigel 'Karate Kid' de Jong (Manchester City) lost his mind a few times and this was not the Dutch football we wanted to see.
But the Germans (and Brasilians in the ninetees) did win the World Cup this way ... :rolleyes:
