Mick Karn, one of the most talented bass players of his generation has recently been diagnosed with the advanced stages of cancer. This is so sad. His book was a great read & his last album was just on my ipod.

I lost both my parents to cancer & wouldn't wish it on anyone. I'm sure Mick will fight this with all he has.

It's terrible news. I've heard that the cancer is very advanced and almost certainly terminal.

One of my all time favorite bass players. Best wishes going out to him and his loved ones. Pull through soon!

Although it sounds inviting, a reunion may not be as succesful as I'd want it to be. I think each artist has gone so far down their own road, that moving back to what Japan "was" might be too difficult. Nevertheless, with Midge Ure at the reins of this, it is most likely going to be a hell of a gig, and I sincerely hope it raises the funds needed.
