A quick heads up for those that are interested.
There is also a program on after it as well.

Extract from Digiguide listings:-

ARTS: Arena
On: BBC 4 (116)
Date: Friday 22nd January 2010 (starting in 5 days)
Time: 21:00 to 22:00 (1 hour long)

Brian Eno - Another Green World.
Brian Eno first starred as the feather-crested electronic keyboard genius of Roxy Music forty years ago. Since then he has been hailed as a pioneer, with his revolutionary experiments in ambient music and audio visual art and as featured producer on benchmark albums by David Bowie, Talking Heads, U2 and Coldplay. Eno is observed working in his studio and talking with friends and colleagues, engaging with fellow minds in conversations on science, art, systems analysis, producing and cybernetics.

MUSIC: Brian Eno: Hits, Classics and Tracks
On: BBC 4 (116)
Date: Friday 22nd January 2010 (starting in 5 days)
Time: 22:00 to 23:00 (1 hour long)

The music Brian Eno has been involved in making ranges from the experimental to the massively popular. Paul Morley talks about some of Eno's hit tracks, including Heroes, Once in a Lifetime, With or Without You and Viva La Vida.

smile Hi Brian,
I knew about this, but well done on posting the thread to remind/inform others. BBC have been making some great music based programmes and here's another that is destined to be essential viewing. Eno is one of my all-time musical heroes, so I can't wait to see this.

For those that want it, here's a link to the BBC info:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00q9xqk

And here's a link to the BBC blog about it:

The show after it should also be good, and it's great that they've included the John Foxx era Ultravox! track 'My Sex'.
Here's the link for that one:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00q9xqm

Apparently, this is the tracklist for the second show (OK, you might not like them all, but there's some real classics here!):
Roxy Music — Virginia Plain
Roxy Music — Ladytron
Roxy Music — Grey Lagoons
Nico — The End
David Bowie — Heroes
David Bowie — Boys Keep Swinging
Ultravox — My Sex
Devo — Jocko Homo
Talking Heads — Once in a Lifetime
Brian Eno & David Byrne — The Jezebel Spirit
U2 — With or Without You
Passengers — Miss Sarajevo
Coldplay — Viva La Vida
David Byrne — Life is Long

Also, if you missed it first time around, right afterwards they're also repeating The Roxy Music Story at 23.00.

Methinks that the BBC are spoiling us!

Finally got to see this excellent docu. Such an intelligent bloke...
Would've been nice to have seen Sir John chatting along with him and Steve Lillywhite..didn't he have something to do with early Ultravox! too?

Did he now?
wink
What a genius that Beno is.
I attended a 'concert' of him once.
It was at an auditorium where he was giving a lecture about his music. Every once in a while he played a couple of tracks as an example of what he just stated. Impressing.
