Similar to you Garry. Maryann put Reznor in a box in which no experimental / instrumental albums could fit. It took three or four listens before M, 'got it'. Plus i had to explain the 'artists sometimes dont like to be typecast' thingy. Everybody has a bit of Bowie in them. The need for a wider spectum to their catalogue.

Still angry about corporations for sure. Don't know what he is going to do now that W. is out of office (and he spells his name with a Capital G laugh ).

laugh It just has to be said - I dismissed Reznor after The Downward Spiral and I think I was right to. But I think, if he works at it, he has a really interesting future ahead - The Jon Stewart of the drum machine? wink

Im thinking when the 'farewell tour' is over, Trent will try for more albums in a shorter time, and of various directions. Industrial like the early stuff, some mainstream like 'Year Zero', and instrumental albums like 'Ghosts'. And in all honesty, once he has more albums under his belt, im sure he'll wanna go back on the road and tour them. smile
