Seeing as there are some Abba cover suggestions being banded about I thorght why not Bowie? Who remembers a Smash Hits from the early 80's when Foxx was asked which song of his he would like Bowie to cover? Anyone want to try and guess the answer. I KNOW at least one of you knows......... smile

John covering a Bowie song?
I'll start the ball rolling with 'Space Oddity'

I'd like to see how John & Louis could reinterpret the Stylophone solo in a new and creative way, and of course there's all that scope for the internal/external drama that would be right up John's street, together with an emotional vocal performance set against a dark spacey void...

Have to agree, that’s an inspired choice, wish I’d thought of it first smile
but I think I’m still sticking with the earlier cosmic folk sound:

‘Cygnet Committee’

‘Wild Eyed Boy From Freecloud’

‘An Occasional Dream’

‘Saviour Machine’

I'm sure Fashion could be made into a Foxx/Gordon-ian electro-stomper.
Failing that how about a makeover for V2 Schneider or Sense Of Doubt ?
