21st Century? NKOM? You sure you're not confusing John Foxx with someone else? [/b]
NKOM = A New kind of Man. 21st Century is track 17 off that album.

Have I missed something here?

OK, sorry. I'm not aware of an album titled A New Kind of Man nor a track called 21st Century.

There is a song 20th Century that was the B-side of Burning Car. There are live version of this on The Omnidelic Tour (track 1) and also track 1 of Retro Future.

Can you tell me some more about that album?

Ah, I should have checked first. Its new .

I was planning to buy this at the concert on Saturday rather than order it from OS. So I haven't paid much attention to the track list.

That's rather disappointing. Perhaps Melbourne and Sydney will do better.

Hmmm

The turnout's for Brisbane and Adelaide are disappointing to say the least.
There has been zero promotion for the gig in Sydney and clearly little promotion anywhere else. Only this week has the Metro (where John is playing) advertised in the paper that he is even playing.

I hope there is a couple of hundred people at the metro as it is a pretty big venue and John Foxx deserves better.

Myself and 4 mates are going, so we will have a great time regardless.

please log in and advise if you are going tomorrow in Sydney??

That's not entirely true. Check this out. Doesn't seem to have help though.

I haven't heard squat on triple-J. But I seldom listen to them now. Got turned off with all the reggae crap back in the 80s.

I'll be there and bringing a friend. Bribed him with a free ticket. But he loves John's ambient work anyway. I'll be there early to have few drinks .

I just wanted to say that the Adelaide show was absolutely brilliant, but unfortunately the turnout was pretty poor, only about 30 people. Advertising and promotion were almost non-existent.Both John and Louis were utterly charming. There are 30 very happy John Foxx fans floating around Adelaide now!
I'm still grinning and the show was four days ago laugh

To Ian and all the rest who were there on Tuesday night, I also am still grinning and had a fantastic time seeing John and Louis perform and rapt that I got to have such a good chat with Louis. For those of you who have been speculating on the (lack of) promotion, Louis told me that the promoter is just a huge fan and brought them out to play to whoever turned up. The original plan was for them to just play Melbourne and Sydney. Thank him/her for adding Adelaide to the list.
