Such a sad state of affairs - the Bethnal Green Woolworths were selling off the fixtures and fittings. I passed the Woolworths on The Moor precinct in Sheffield (half of which has been bulldozed making the whole place look like something out of Threads) and that was in the same state.

It is estimated that another 15 other retail giants will go the same way by summer.

and don't forget "pick and mix"...

ha! when we saw all the empty shelves in the Hereford branch my Dad joked 'We could do with some of those in the shed!' . .perhaps we should've asked how much they were going for
