I don't think this has been posted here;

http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/interactive/2009/jun/12/paul-morley-kraftwerk

It's a new column by Paul Morley - first one was about Kraftwerk and features interview with Little Boots and...wait for it....Ralf Hutter's poetry to the Doepfer A100 Analogue Modular System and an interpretation of Hall of Mirrors by Tuung

I found it very romantic wink

Rumours of more 'stimulating' poetry that he's written about his custom-built Matten & Wiechersare analogue sequencers are completely unfounded laugh

Still, it's nowhere near as beautiful as this;

The Boxset includes even the recent 'Tour De France Soundtracks'. Feels bit like "that was it, goodbye!" from Kraftwerk.

Anyhow.. Kraftwerk live in Helsinki next thursday smile .

Apologies if it’s been mentioned on this thread before, but just a few notes of interest about Der Katalog;

Release date has moved again, it’s now coming out 5 October

Electric Café has been renamed Techno-Pop (Its original name)

It’s on Mute Records, not EMI (although EMI own Mute these days) - so Mute now have the complete works of Can, Kraftwerk, Suicide, Throbbing Gristle and Cabaret Voltaire - cool!

The first three albums will appear in a separate collection after the release of Der Katalog

The recent performance at the velodrome in Manchester is reviewed here;

Wished I'd gone now just to have seen the GB Olympic Cycling Team tearing round the velodrome whilst Kraftwerk performed Tour de France! Cool!
