Elton John - 'Funeral For a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding'.

I have all my Elton John on vinyl so I have not heard that one in ages.

I would of added part two also, but the vocals and 'blue peter' ending lets it down somewhat. Overall, a classic album still.

"Come to Daddy" from the Virgin Prunes ten-inch "New Forms of Beauty Part 2." Ten minutes of hell -- but I mean that in the best possible way. I love it but I can only bring myself to listen to it about once every ten months or so. It chills me anew every time.

Im going to be boring and list two Numans tracks, 'Slowcar To China', Cry The Clock Said'. Not really epics in sound but deffo in the time frame.

Ok then I'll put OMD's 'Stanlow' and '66 & Fading' in ....and 'Sealand' too while we're at it.
