Only available to UK viewers I'm afraid.

They were very good, as was another 'new'ish' band 'Florence And The Machine'.
Old timers 'Status Quo', 'Madness', The Specials', and 'Blur' were great too. I even watched some of 'Tom Jones', and 'Tony Christie'. laugh

Torchwood Children Of Earth

Have to admit that I stopped watching Torchwood after the first couple of episodes of series two, I got a bit bored with the various romantic yawns going on with the characters, and only picked it up again on the final episodes.

This new series of a five part story arrived unexpectedly for me, and Capt Harkness is back quite literaly with a bang, and its actually a pretty good romp with its Midwich Cuckoos atmosphere, and conspiracy dramatics.

David Bowie's VH1 Storytellers arrived this week and I've just watched it on 5.1. This is a classic performance. I remember I was in London at the time (1999/2000) and I remember catching the end of the show. It was Word on a Wing, one of his finest songs from not his finest hour, personally that is. I enjoyed this track and his honest account of how the song came to being. Finally, this CD/DVD package contains the whole show and what a treasure it is to have for any Bowie fan.

Yes he was a great friend of Bolan, who gets a mention, when they were just unknowns, just kids. Now they're legends.
