Thought I’d steal solenoid’s quote from that other FOXX thread, but no, I’m not watching it now, and yes I do remember it from my childhood, and I loved racing home from school to watch it.

Time travel was very easy in this show, you just had to be a geek, and crawl through a fence, oh, and you got to meet the unpredictable adult version of yourself in a future world crisis scenario eek

I’m sure if I saw it now I’d probably think it was total rubbish, but it was most likely great children’s TV for the time.

Watched the movie 'Three Kings' with George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg. Saw it before but it was still good second time around.

Ziggy Stradust: The Motion Picture . I remember watching this some time ago. The VHS quality was appalling but the atmosphere was pretty good. DVD has brought in a new dimension. The colours are there and it seems that you are actually there watching the concert. David's stage presentation is very professional and unique of course. In '72 and '73 he was ahead of the game.

What a guitarist is Mick Ronson. His solo on Moonage Daydream is amazing and it is this song that should have been released as a single from the live album and not White Light/White Heat. A fantastic video could have been created for that single by taking that particular snippet from the show. David would have had another top ten hit in the eighties. I guess he was tired of having too many hits and went for one of the tracks from his beloved Velvets.

You can catch a glimpse of Mike Garson's Mellotron at the very beginning. With this string machine and a Minimoog he recreated the fantastic studio sounds of Space Oddity, another great track in this collection.
