No Ken,the Wire in question is wiretaps

To call it just a cop show would be to do it a dis-service.Each season has been produced like a novel.Every season focuses on one aspect of the goings on in the city of Baltimore, usually from the police perspective.

Dont read too much if you intend to watch it in case of spoilers.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_wire

Its very big on character development.
David Simon who created it wrote the original Homicide book.He was a reporter on the Baltimore Sun.Ed Burns the co-creater was an ex cop who retired to become a teacher.

All of there experiences & incredible stories are laid out over the 5 seasons.

'Ashes To Ashes' started in Finland last week. I've seen only first episode so far but like it a lot for the music alone.

I have if it's the one called Kraftwerk and the Electronic Revolution . I thoroughly enjoyed it, like most documentaries from this musical genre. It's well documented. From the first albums of Tangerine Dream, Amon Duul, Popol Vuh,Kluster,Klaus Schulze,Canand Kraftwerk, of course, to the present day.

From Kraftwerk only Karl Bartos and Roeder gets interviewed. There's also an extensive interview with Karl on the extras bit of the DVD.

Klaus Shulze, Schnitzler, Roedelius, Moebius and Rusty Egan also gets interviewed.
