We Are The Night (Chemical Brothers)is very nice indeed - EXCEPT for the Salmon Dance track.

Still, every album has to have a weak track.

Played that very album today, i think ive said it before that my favorite track is 'saturate'.As for 'the salmon dance', when i first heard it i thought it was just silly, but now it adds a touch of humour to the album. There must be something great about this Chem Bro's cd, as its the first time this 'numanoid' has played them, with any interest.

it's indeed a great album ... & my personal favorite from it is still "das spiegel" ( bad german for "the mirror" btw ;-) , which is such an uplifting gem of an instrumental tune that i could play it several times again ... & again ! *hehehe*

I am a big Chemical Brothers fan and We Are the Night is in my opinion their best. All Rights Reversed is my fave track.

The Salmon Dance is a fluke :rolleyes: and should NEVER have been included. I skip past it every time. The worst part is that they are promoting it heavily.

I went to the gig last night; posted my comments in the "What are you listening to" thread. Forgot to mention that they did NOT do The Salmon Dance (thank goodness).

They are playing tonight also in Brooklyn. An outdoor gig with 2 opening acts: The Rub DJ party crew and Ladytron!!!

But in all honesty, that song would not have fit in anywhere in the set (just like it doesnt fit in with any of their music). I am sure there was a reason for the song but it escapes me.

I think that track (the salmon dance) may of been intended for an earlier release, but because it was not released in time, has now been put in with the album which has a different feel.

That would make sense. Did you know that you can get all kinds of downloads and ringtones of that track. I am sorry, I still don't get it
