Whoops! forgot about Warriors.
I quite liked the "Warriors" single, especially the B-sides, My Car Slides 1 & 2.
I have the aircraft-shaped single, and the 12".
Oh, and the album, but I don't think I'd actually recommend it to a non-Numanoid.

After reading an interview with Bowie in the seventies where he mentioned two artists who walked in his footsteps (yep, John and Gary), I checked them out. Bought their latest albums being ... Metamatic and The Pleasure Principle. Bingo! laugh

'in depth' Gazza interview here at Beatmag .

He talks well of John Foxx and his former band called Ultravox.
Quote:

GN: “I’m a big admirer of John Foxx. I always have been. I always thought it a massive shame that he didn’t become a big pop star.”

Yet he never wanted that.

GN: “Did he not?”

No. He walked away from Ultravox partly because he felt that were on the verge of fame.

GN: “That’s an admirable thing. I just wanted fame more than breathing.”
laugh
