You know, someone musical, really obscure that you reckon nobody else will have heard of... cos it's kinda cool when you're a bit off the wall... (that's what my mind tells me anyway)...

I'll start the ball rolling with "Imatran Voima" - a pair of Fins (non-piscine) with a bonkers old-skool electro sound. I have some vinyl and a CD of theirs and can report that they have absolutely no regard for our loudspeakers. Long live Finland's electro-fruitcakes!

I've heard them grin Not my piece of cake, and could serve here other Finnish gems like Retropop - but instead am going to mention a name from London: HK119

I saw her perform at The Courtyard in Digbeth, Birmingham. She delivered a very intense, aggressive performance.

Until I joined this forum, I was encouraged to think that most of my music collection was Obscurities - even A Guy Called Foxx

Now I have realise that many people here have far more experience of 'off the wall' music than I ever did!

Did anyone ever listen to "Sleeping Dogs Wake"? They were at the tail end of the 80's Goth movement. Martin reminded me of them by mentioning Danielle Dax which this lots also seem to resemble, albeit with Adam Ant's drummers??

This Little Piggy

Or "Underneath What"? These were amazing live.
