An "Impossible" wink amount of stuff to look forward to. Wonder if there will be left over T-shirts from Japan. We'll have to bring a large wallet. laugh
Dunno really - it depends on how well they sell. If there are any left over, then it's fair to say that some of them will be available to buy at Cargo...

There's no reason why not, but it all depends on what John and Louis (and Chris 1 / Chris 2) are allowed to take with them weight-wise. There inevitably comes a point where taking too much merchandise becomes uneconomical.

Sometimes I'm not able to answer questions immediately - and seeing as how the gig in Venice isn't for another five weeks... wink

My John Foxx collection is beginning to look impressive. laugh Many years ago I was wondering where John had disappeared to. Since the release of Shifting City and Cathedral Oceans in 1997 John has been colossal.

Thanks to all who have supported John through these years of hard work and artistry brilliance.

Hope to see Impossible and Neuro Video advertised at Townsend Records. wink

Ok..fair enough! Even though the Cargo gig is 5 weeks less 2 days away..(is that all?). We'll see nearer the time.
Easy Jet allow 20 kg per person BTW. It's 7 quid for each KG over (I should know.... )

eek eek eek

WOW! This is brilliant! Two very cool releases to look forward to, and hints of even more after those! I tell ya, I'm going to have to find a second job just to be able to afford all of this year's John Foxx CDs! How do I explain to my family that they won't be receiving Christmas gifts from me this year because I spent all the Christmas money on myself?

I don't know which excites me more right now, the prospect of getting my paws on "Impossible" and "Neuro Video" (even though I will have to wait for Townsend to post them since I won't be able to attend the gigs where they'll be sold frown ) or the mental image I have of John Foxx doing a cover of Aerosmith the way you guys have described it -- I can hear it perfectly and I LOVE it! Rob, can you use your influence to persuade the Quiet Man to make it happen?! laugh

‘Impossible’ is a must have purchase for me, new tracks, new arrangements, fantastic.
Rob Is this disc representative of the track-list John will be playing at the Cargo show?
(And do you think he might consider a wider UK tour next year in 09, I’d love to see him play again)

I love the Surrealist setting with Film Noir undertones, more like this please. I like having intriguing covers on my CD’s, particularly if John is the artist/musician in question.

Beautiful decision, and someday I’d love there to be a DVD release of John being interviewed on video, talking about his work, taking us through and to his places of inspiration...
(well I can hope smile )

I know, I’m amazed at just how much space he is (quite rightly) taking up on my CD shelf these days, and for a long time there was only Dust, and now there’s Light!

Through Townsend, perhaps? And any idea how soon? By now someone must have some idea how many copies these CDs can be expected to sell, so it doesn't seem unreasonable that a certain amount could be made available for ordering by the time of the Cargo show.

Rob, these interviews - will it be one interview CD to accompany each album, or just a single/double CD where he covers them all at once?
