Its one of those rare shows that has me laughing out loud, I can watch each episode over again and the humour still gets me like its the first time:

can't sleep at night? insomnia, or too much cheese on your toast at bedtime? Well, who needs sleep when there's late night YouTube roulette viewing to be had!

I think this ones got something to do with the Turner Art Prize or Britain's Got Talent:

This is clearly a simple tale of boy meets girl, boy and girl fall in love, then boy and girl live happily ever after together in domestic bliss. (Please do excuse the swearing, and feel free to use the dance moves at your office Christmas party, but best leave your pet snake at home smile ):

Shy boy, just came across this the other day, old news from last year, but then I don't watch Britain's Got Talent. He is amazing, while she lends a hand, so at 29 million views here are these two possibly a new Peters And Lee for our present Generation Austerity:

"We've gone on holiday by mistake!"

Good grief, just how much more can George Lucas/Disney milk a cash cow with yet another Directors Cut Special Edition:

Ridley Scott's Prometheus

Was annoyed with myself that I didn't get to see this on the cinema big screen last summer, having gone out of my way to avoid reviews and comments - aside from the intriguing viral clips that promoted the forthcoming blockbuster - Guy Pearce as Weyland Industries mysterious boss giving a TED lecture - and the best one, the one with Michael Fassbender as 'David' really had my attention: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvXKN5Fz_OE

So finally late I get to see Prometheus on DVD, directed by the man responsible for Bladerunner, one of my all time favourite films, one that I raved about to anyone in earshot for a decade after its release, also, the script for Prometheus involved the main writer for LOST, one of my all time favourite TV series despite its cop-out conclusion. Michael Fassbender as it turned out was excellent in his role, that's excusing his convenient and obvious plot moments, or more likely the inexplicable attitude swings, as for the rest of the movie, well 'convenient' and 'inexplicable' are a good start, but I'll leave it to this review here - Warning, spoilers from a very nasty sociopath megalomaniac, bad language, xenophobia, oh and Prometheus, the most expensive B-Movie ever made - thankfully in space nobody can hear you scream:

Something a bit different - a time lapse video made from google street view - echoes of Flight Path Tegel, and good, but in a different way

Watch Street View Video!

The other week I finally got around to watching the documentary "Synth Britannia" for the first time! Scary to think it is from 4 years ago!

I found it a very good overview with some interesting talking heads. I am still not sure Cabaret Voltaire do it for me, but it is becoming very clear to me I need to get some of that old Throbbing Gristle!
