Got this CD as Christmas present and it is very good indeed, especially Water and Goodbye Johnny Ball.
GBJB is excellent electronic music that lasts for over 20 minutes.
Also the hidden track is very funny but it works too, as it is a ragtime cover version of Kraftwerk's Neon Lights.

A childhood friend of his, so I've been told. wink

Liked the first track on the ep Those Arps.

I'm sure he has more tracks stored on his hard-drive so I'll be looking forward to his next release.

Come on Louie a full album next time round! :p

British thing Maryann,
Johhny Ball was a scientist typey person, great with Numbers and a very sharp thinker.
His daughter,Zoe, went on to present tv music shows and the like.

BTW Johnny Ball was rector at Glasgow Uni when I started working there, and a very nice man he was/is indeed smile

Lets put it this way....
Johhny Ball was a 'hero' to most of us growing up in the UK during the late '80's early'90's
his daughter is NOT an ugly girl, around the same age as most of us who grew up with her father on TV,so the lust factor kicks in ...men!! EH!?? laugh

Personaly JB is a really nice man,met him twice when I worked for Glasgow Uni,but Zoe comes acros to me as a prat!! smile

I fail to see the correlation and/or relevance of her physical appearance and her failure to follow in her father's footsteps regarding a career in science.

Sorry Maryann, that didn't come across as I ment.
Johhny Ball was your typical goofy guy,and he DID present TV shows, thats what I ment by we all grew up with him...he used to present programmes like "Think of a Number",math and science type progs.
His daughter was a nice looking girl(Thats superficial I know, thats why I said "Men!! Eh!" smile
But she went on to present kids "pop" shows ect.
Errm! ..am I digging myself an even bigger hole here?? frown smile
