Blimey! Well this forum has been an experience. I'ved lived and learned.

I was having a reunion with my friend Ian that I had not seen for about 25 years. He was in a synth band for years. He got me to stand right in front of the mixing desk, for the best sound.

Sounded okay to me from there, but I bow to everyones judgements. I love the attention to detail. I am amazed what happened down at the front where I would have been had it not been for my friend. Phew.

Nowadays you just pack a few Virus TI/Prophet 8/Moog voyagers and leave the rest to a laptop. Must have been quite a life on the road with the old gear. A vocation.

We enjoyed it very much. My pal didn't know who Louis Gordon was, and wondered where The Garden material had gone. I am afraid John always has had trouble catching up with Metamatic and The Garden, but I'd watch him play anything.

Next time I will attend a John Foxx show in a big yellow shirt with a white bow tie, and flourescent trousers. Cheer the thing up. Did everyone have to look like the Mussolini fan club???
