I'm now looking for a start point into his more recent releases ('97 onwards).
Some good suggestions above, but it might be helpful to provide a sense of the kinds of material he's been producing since then.
He's done several collaborations with Louis Gordon. These are kind of like Metamatic, with a somewhat more modern techno sound at times, but basically oriented around synths and vocals. Examples: Shifting City, Pleasures of Electricity, Crash and Burn, From Trash, Sideways.
He's done several ambient and instrumental albums. The Cathedral Oceans series is ambientish music with some treated vocals, inspired somewhat by church music. Translucence/Drift Music is a collaboration with Harold Budd that's straightforward ambient music, strictly instrumental, not unlike the Eno/Budd albums from quite a few years back. Tiny Colour Movies is instrumental retro electronica, often with some percussion and more melody than the ambient stuff. Reminiscent of Kraftwerk and other electronic pioneers. My Lost City is a recent collection of tracks, some of them related to Cathedral Oceans, so more ambient stuff, as is the austere and abstract D'Agostino/Foxx/Jansen collaboration A Secret Life. Mirrorball, a collaboration with Robin Guthrie, has vocals by Foxx and a lot of Guthrie's ethereal guitar sound.
Electrofear by Nation 12 is the lost tapes and a couple of 12" singles Foxx did as part of a techno-ish project circa 1991.
There are also several live and live-in-the-studio releases, a couple of interview CDs, and two compilation CDs, Modern Art (mostly Virgin-era stuff) and Glimmer (2 CDs, more of a balance between new and old).
The four original albums have all been rereleased as remastered 2CD sets with lots of bonus material, some never available before anywhere.
