Same problem here. I Can't Stay Long is a definite buzz-giver for me but being restricted to five meant some had to be left out. Maybe we should be asking "Waht are your five most spiritually uplifting / life affirming JF songs today?" laugh

Indeed!

Today, a rainy but peaceful day at work, the first 5 tracks of Drift Music.

Thinking longer term, I would begin to choose:

Twilight's Last Gleaming
Stars on Fire
Cathedral Oceans
Shine On Me
Like a Miracle

Yes, I'm thinking this myself at the moment, its got a lot to do with whatever inner feeling you might be experiencing. I'm presently somewhere that's a bit more reflective, or calmer perhaps, so I'm now having other tracks going through my head:

Like A Miracle

Twilight's Last Gleaming

Dance With Me

A Woman On A Stairway

Quiet City.

Of course it could be no coincidence about the first four songs on the list there, as the summer starts to fade and autumn is just ahead the Golden Section album begins to come into its own once more. But I also know that deep down I'd love to see new material of such mysterious depth and distinctive experimentation spring from John again in the future
