Wrong font.

Same but different .. but there's a car and a man in a grey-ish suit.

The A's and E's are wrong. And its a black suit (might be a gin suit though).

Either way, both fonts have a 1930's charm to it - which I like.

Does anyone know the provenance of "Underpass (Extended Version)"? I'm aware of the standard version and the edited version missing the second verse, but not an extended one.

Interesting track selection for disc 1.

A lot of the tracks I wouldn't describe as 'dark'. I suppose that it would've been a bit much to include the familiar versions of 'Film One' & 'Mr. No', seeing as they are on the Metamatic 2 disc set.

I was hoping that there would be remixes by other artists of 'Film One' & 'Mr. No', on a seperate disc along with 'Underpass (Mark Reeder's Sinister Subway Mix)'. Because I consider these two tracks as the darkest John has ever recorded.

Interesting. Only two different recorded tracks of Johns solo stuff - Underpass extended and Burning Car early version but more live recordings with the Aussie 08 show. I was hoping for more on the DVD but lets not forget it only costs a tenner for two cds and a DVD. Not complaining and looking forward to Metadelic later in the year. Oh yes and that gig sometime in June (76 days to go!!!)

A nice collection. And great it includes The Noise from the VH1 session.

Looking forward to hold it in my hands!!!
