You are doing well - that is considerably more than I got for the poll I ran last Christmas on this very site (mind you, that did involve listing 10 songs and sending an e-mail ) .

I know - that surprised me more than anything - not sure why. I thought that the view would have been more polarised!

As I got the remastered 2 CD edition of "The Pleasure Of Electricity" and the double live album "In The Glow" I have to name both of those as my fave JF releases of 2009.

I think TPOE really is an excellent and underated album, could very easily be regarded as a follow up to John's debut long player "Metamatic".

..so perhaps no surprises in the winner MY LOST CITY although it was a very close race overall. Destination / Sept. Town did very well, even tho it was 'only' a single and certainly seems to reflect our anticipation of the new JF & The Maths material.
Surprising perhaps that the TPOE re-master pipped it's fellow-remaster Shifting City into 3rd place as the latter seemed to have been given greater approval on the forum.
In the Glow beat ANKOW in the live album stakes and even the much criticised Impossible re-issue got a look in.
Personally I would have thought Mirrorball would have done better but it's a fairly even spread among all the new 2009 albums.
