I know - shocking isn't it?

Dear Rob,

Where's the other 194 discs and the 300 bonus discs!!?

PS - As discussed I'm currently working on the index that lists the free art prints. I'm stuck on page 24 but will pass along for proof reading anyhow.

Seriously though - who else wants interview discs discussing The Golden Section and In Mysterious Ways?

ME!!!!!

That whole period has a bit of mystery to it as Foxx wasn't get a large amount of press at the time - especially around In Mysterious Ways

Interview CD's of The Garden, The Golden Section and In Mysterious Ways are welcome to me,too.

The same goes for Shifting City and The Pleasures of Elecricity (Crash And Burn ?).
Perhaps these both have a second CD with bonus tracks/and Interview?! Would be nice to hear some background stories of "the making of"...

May I offer up a solution to Local record shops not stocking John Foxx (and I'm not dissing Townsend for one minute as I will continue to buy rarities from them): If you order a John Foxx CD from your local HMV, the HMV computer will register that someone in the local area has bought work from JF. Then, when new stuff comes out, it will flag to the shop assistants to stock copies of the new stuff. So, to generate the demand, go order something!!
I did this with 'Crash & Burn' and my local HMV now always stocks new stuff - they stocked all the re-releases and 'Glimmer'.
The clever bit now is that if someone else is browsing, spots 'Glimmer' and buys it, the HMV computer will add another sale to JF, and next time will order more stock. Yes, stato fans, I alone have generated demand for ol' Chisel Cheeks in the Greater Peterborough area!!! (Where do I get my prize?)
Cheers

Smart one Craig! In The Netherlands (with a few exceptions) no disc of JF at all can be bought. So I always order it at my local musicstore. Same story ... Can I go for second place? wink

Collectors with an eye toward the future should consider the investment potential! This unique item could command an even higher price on eBay if you could convince John Foxx to scribble his name on it somewhere! wink laugh laugh laugh

I think he would have to scribble:

"over all the bridges,
echoes in rows..."
