This photo shows me on the right behind John on this TOTP appearance of Underpass. I thought I'd better join here too, I've not left Ultravox (forum), just thought I could maybe help out on Metamatic and make friends and share ideas with like minded people.

I also have some concerning news about Gareth Jones, who, as you may already know, was the person who put me together with John Foxx to play on Metamatic and engineered that and other albums and put The Garden Studio together. Well, he's trying to rid himself of cancer. Bravely, and typically, he's being very open about his treatment and keeping a Blog: A Journey With Cancer
I think we should pray, will, whatever it is we can do to support him through this journey. I pray he gets through this.

I had no idea about Gareth's struggle; that's most saddening to read. I hope he continues to fight and makes it through.

His work with John, Depeche Mode and Mesh is second to none. One of the best producers around.

I will add my prayers to yours for his strength in dealing with this situation.

I read this a couple of hours too late for a bigger airing, as I have just returned from a service led by the Archdeacon of Winchester, during which I was 'enroled' for my second year as the youngest churchwarden in the Winchester diocese.
