Re:the tour t-shirts

The unsold were brought back to the UK
(and thereby hangs a tale about excess baggage)

I'm sure that Steve will make them available via the usual source..

I like the empty suit in a chair image myself.

That originated from a Japanese film made in the 60s.

So I think it would be amusing if they used it for the Japanese tour.

Did it? I never knew that - I had always assumed it was one of John's own photographs of his grey Oxfam suit.

Interesting.

NIce one!! laugh

I think the idea is actually from The H Men.
There's reference in a handful of interviews where John says he saw a still and liked the idea, although he hadn't (at the time) seen the film.
A man had literally 'dissolved' leaving only an empty suit with a trickle of liquid coming out of a sleeve.
Or something...

It is his own original image though, created (initially) for the Miles Away single cover.

Ok . .well it's nice to know that Rowan Atkinson took up the idea either way!

Thanks for this.

And the Mr Bean image. Inspired!

I think its the same interview that is hosted here which is referenced in the other thread.

Notice at the bottom that John refers to his ongoing collaboration with Leftfield

and thanks for that .. hadn't seen it. Nice 'light bulb' head pic at the end of it too.

I was just wondering about myspace vs. metamatic.com .. which is more 'official'?
