Mine has also arrived. Not signed. Ordered it as soon as the link was there. I am dissapointed as I have ordered all recent John Foxx CDs's from Townsend. I don't think I will in the future as all other places seem to be cheaper.

Mine arrive a few minutes ago. Autographed, but then I did order within nanoseconds of the announcement. I'm really surprised that some of 'us' didn't get autographed copies. My cynical side wonders how long before autographed copies start trickling on to eBay from people who bought several copies for just that purpose.

Can anyone tell me, please: Has John anything to do with the remixes or is it made only by Dubterror??!

I know Karborn made the artwork but it isn't clear to me if John has the hand on the music or not??

Thank you for clarification... smile

I'd have to agree ... perhaps there will eventually be some affordable prints. A 12" double-sided insert would have been the way I would have done it.

Mine's not signed but then I left it a while deliberately. I'm never that bothered by signatures in general. They generally spoil the artwork ... oh bugger.

Andreas - you are right in your assumption that the remixes, technically, do not involve John Foxx.
Other than his obvious endorsement of the project, I don't think he has had any input to the sound. Dubterror has stripped the tracks down and remixed them, with Karborn credited as 'executive producer' I think.

Best remixes of any of John's work so far.

Let's hope a new stream of creative re-purposing develops on the back of this

And also - Townsend records website states: "The records are housed in a black sleeve and feature Karborn's unique visuals on the labels".
I hope it said this before everyone ordered it...? eek

I will buy a copy in October - if it is not sold out then. I was not clear to me if John made the mix together with Dubterror or if they done it by their own and John gave only his OK to do it with his songs.
But I think the 12" inch would worth to buy only for Karborn's artwork too.

Thank you a lot for the explanation, Martin!! wink

I've currently got the Burning Car artwork as my desktop image on a 24" monitor - looks as stunning as you would expect cool

I have to say this is absolutely awful, it really is.

I am a completist so will buy everything but this was placed once and is now on the shelf where it will stay.

I can only think this is aimed at the younger market as I can't see how it would appeal to John's regular fan base!

If I'm wrong please tell me you like it but I can't see how any of us are going to be into this.

Dreadful.....and my copy wasn't signed either despite being seconds off the mark...!
