Oh, Mr. Harris - you tease...

wink

Seriously, I think the release of 'Glimmer' and the forthcoming re-issues of older albums is fantastic and will reinforce the range, depth and consistency of John's work. It's all excellent news and I can't wait.

Hi Newvox,

That's a really interesting theory! When you consider there's nothing from Tiny Colour Movies on Glimmer either which he's promoting heavily right now, it would make sense to have a companion album to Glimmer next year that supports tracks from albums such as Tiny Colour Movies, Crash and Burn etc and would help promote their re-issue as well.

I did find it a bit odd that nothing from From Trash was on there - easily one of his best works in years. But it makes sense if there is a companion compilation album next year.

I think that that's a bad idea, otherwise I'll be fielding enquiries about it for the next ten years - just like I still get questions about Metadelic, Metatronic and Metamatica. wink

Anyhow, the reason why material from albums like Crash and Burn, From Trash and Tiny Colour Movies don't feature on Glimmer is because they have been licenced to Fullfill, whilst Glimmer will be released through Edsel. Some tracks (Free Robot and Dislocated) will still have to be licenced, but for the most part, the remainder of the material currently resides with Edsel. I hope that this answers this question.

It's definitely still forthcoming, but our priorities are currently with the reissued versions of The Garden, The Golden Section and In Mysterious Ways, as well as Glimmer.

I couldn't possibly comment... wink

Not at the moment I'm afraid - they're still in the throws of being finalised. I'll post them just as soon as they've all been confirmed.

Thanks Rob

I am looking forward to "The Golden Section" and "In Mysterious Ways" (A Fantastic album by the way) as John did release some double pack singles and some good tracks at that.
