Sliding into the Metamatic world now ...
... after over 25 years or more!
Saying a BIG hello! to every-one here, from a sunny Eindhoven (Netherlands). 44 years of age, and now out of the closet: yes I like the music of John Foxx! So, with my new MacBook on my lap, I want to give you a brief history of my 'Foxx connection':
- pre- 1980: Bowie & Eno fan
- 1980: bought Vienna, then discovered through my girlfriend Systems of Romance, wow!
- 1981 and onwards: bought the upcoming albums until John Foxx disappeared from the scene.
- 1982: missed a concert of John at 'Paard van Troje' The Hague. Boohoo!
- 1990's: Did listen to his music occasionally, wondered what happened to ...
- 1990's: He's back! What the ... Couldn't believe it at first
- 2006: At last: saw John Foxx live for the first time, with Louis Gordon at Paradiso, Amsterdam!
P.s. : About the same story as above with Mr. Numan, first live gig in 2005 ...
