Bought a few copies for a few friends. To promote JF. Wonder what they (more rock orientated folks) make of it. Me, I think that it's the best introduction of JF's work. Still waiting ...

Without trawling this whole thread,the version of 'My Sex' on the Glimmer album, is it a version for this album only,I've not heard the Glimmer version before? If no - which album?

The 'extended' version of My Sex that is on Glimmer comes from the album Live From A Room (As Big As A City) which John Foxx and Louis Gordon released in 2006 (METACD010)

There's an interview somewhere in which John Foxx explains how he liked Louis' updating of the old version and Louis liked John's 'new' version so much they decided to work them both together.

It's been performed live in this new format on most of the tours they've done together since - and (I think) it's currenlty available live from Sydney on Metatronic.
