And, re: the Some Of Them thread, I have to agree with you about ‘My Sex’, and meant to answer the repurposing question there with a comment about this song. It has been lovingly brought forward by John and Louis, who have successfully taken it away from it’s Eno’esque youth, and matured it into a beautiful and contemporary creature, it’s a highlight of Glimmer for me also smile

Blimey! Good work fella!

Normally I hate sleeve notes in albums because nothing dates them more - but that really should of been the sleeve-notes.

Nice one Martin!

eek Cheers!

Maybe I could tender for the 2012 special 3xCD edition... wink

What do people think generally of the (early version) of No-one Driving?
I love the (female) choral backing during the verses - says a lot about what came later of course...
And those last 20 seconds of Plaza (extended)...?

CD2 track 13 ...I love it, very raw and absorbing, and it did make me feel like the hairs were standing up on the back of my neck on first listen smile

Female choral backing? as in 'sound's a bit like'...?

Yeah - I didn't really describe it well.
An early preset incarnation of 'the human host' - ??

good theory...

I wish the remasters and Glimmer hadn't come out so close together, but I imagine that marketing and opportunity are factors.

As it is I've had to stop listening to the particular things I was really enjoying on Glimmer, to clear my mind regarding each remaster, before I stopped I was high on CD1: tracks 09, 10, 12, and CD2: 01, 03, 08, 11, 12, 13, and 15, phew! that's a lot more than I originally started with laugh

Can't wait to get back to listening to those, but Glimmer will have to wait, I'm gonna stick with 2 out of the 3 remasters first, (constantly revisiting my TGS mix, but I especially want to explore IMW more, it's been a long time, but I know there's a 'mystery' still there for me to solve smile )
