As I'm getting old and firmly believe in the adage "ya can't take it with you", I have decided to part with some of my duplicate Vox / Foxx rarities over the next few months via Ebay. First up will be signed copies of Slow Mo' & Quiet Men 12" singles. Not just any old signed copies don'tchaknow... each copy has a short lyric extract from the respective A-side. I would sell these separately but I think they belong together. Click on the attached link and you'll see what I mean. I am keeping the framed versions shown in the pic but the ones at the top signed with gold marker pen are those I'm sadly parting with.
The vinyl is not signed on the "for sale" versions but the label on Quiet Men is signed in black marker.

These were signed by John at the Wembley Record Fair. I can't remember what year that was but I know that Mr Normall recorded the event for posterity and has a pic (taken from a distance)of John signing my copies!

I notice some have no or very few bids, so I might get lucky.

(*In case you're new to the forum, this is just to let you know that there's a good chance that 'Shifting City' will be re-issued with extras within the next year.)
I'd buy it if its got the live version of Shadow Man.

Fangs for pointing that out.

I bought mine locally (RedEye in Sydney) years ago for $43. Not exactly cheap even then.

This is a shame - if a product is out of stock and unavailable then they should update their website!

Since they listed it, I has assumed they had a couple of copies - evidently not frown

I wonder if Shifting City will be part of Demon's plans...?

I see there's a low priced copy of Metal Beat going in a couple of hours...

I've got a bit confused with who is doing what with regard to the re-issues. Metamatic 2007 was John on his own? Are all the subsequent re-issues being done by Demon?

I'm not too upset about Shifting City, especially if it will be re-issued this year smile

I think it was supposed to be re-released last year, but my guess is the Metamatic reissue took priority.

Rob, can you give us any hints on when to expect the remaster? wink
