I picked up a leaflet in Tower Records in Shibuya for an electronic music night at a club with all the acts names on it, Numan, Human League,John Foxx etc
Any chance we can see a photo or copy of that?
Maybe groups like Polysics have led some there to look at acts like Devo (their template) and then on to other acts who used synths from that era?
I wouldn't know but it definitely sounds like an interesting topic.
I was looking at an old synth mag I bought in '84 (had an article on John's The Garden studio). All the major Japanese manufacturers were making synths and related equipment big time back then.
