Townsend may send you another copy without charge if you explain what has happened. I had a similar problem when I ordered Sideways from Amazon. They gave the impression that they would send another copy if my order did not arrive by a certain date. As it happended, it did eventually arrive.

The only down side is the recent blog that indicates that Townsend have sold the 500 copies they were originally allocated. I wonder if they will be getting any of the remaining 300 copies that remain unsold?

I had contacted Townsend records via Peter and they told they had sent my copy on the 18th April. But at that time the post in Germany striked - so I had thought it will take some days more - normally the post takes not longer than a week from UK to my Home. Another reason could be we changed our home for a few weeks and have a new address now. But Townsend had sent it to the new address.

Anyway - I'm sure now it is lost. I will order a new one soon - cannot wait any longer...

Well good luck with it - although I don't like the idea of you losing money on a CD you never received.

It may be worth contacting them once more to tell them that it still hasn't arrived?

Even if the postal strike was over a month ago, it should have arrived by now

Finally I got my copy today via big help from Alex and Peter who did a hard job to work out where the copy has been. I was ready to order a new copy but then it came back to Townsend and they sent it again.

For the CD : All what you can say about it was said here but I want to tell I'm fascinated about the quality and the great booklet. This CD is really a great item for every collector. I'm sure the most of the tracks are recorded at the ICA, which would make it more special for me 'cause this was the gig I was there.
I'm glad the CD arrived after it's long travel.
THANK YOU ALEX AND PETER!!!! I owe you more than some pints...

How long does it normaly take Townsend to send goods out??
Only been 10 days but just wondering?

Depends on whether they really have it in stock or not. Their web site doesn't appear to be very accurate.

For example, I ordered a few things over Xmas. Most arrived fairly quickly (within 2 weeks) but COIII took a long while.

They told me that they still had copies in stock when I enquired for Andreas last week.

If Townsend run out or prove to be problematic - I was in Sister Ray on Saturday and they had stock of ANKoM out and on the shelves for £12.99. They also had copies of Metal Beat too.
