The Klaxons on John Foxx

Klaxons say they are being inspired by early synthesizer pioneers such as ex-Ultravox singer, John Foxx . . . .

'My favourite album of all time is Metamatic by John Foxx,' says Simon Taylor of the Klaxons. 'He's an amazing musician. Nobody's ever really picked up on his stuff. That's weird, as he's full of amazing, visionary ideas.'

The guitarist added: 'If anyone should be called 'under-rated, it's Foxx.'

I saw it on MySpace this morning... but I originally mis-read it as:

"The Klaxons of John Foxx..."

I was starting to think it might have been an even more surreal blog from John!!

They might be name checking John, but they don't half make a horrible mess with music!
