"Walking on Air," which is merely a minute of the flanged synth from "Touch 'n' Go" a capella, was sent to me over 25 years ago on a recordable cassette. The quality is acceptable, but despite its rareness, it's no big deal.
The "Fusion/Fission" demo came from the same tape, and the only real distinctions between it and the final take are 1) the way it was compressed, in which it sounds as if it was recorded from a radio broadcast, and 2) While I've never played each version back-to-back, it sounds as if JF is singing with a bit more of a baritone on the demo. Maybe that's just an illusion.
For either piece, I can't say that anyone's really missing out on anything exciting. I have listed "Walking on Air II" as well, which is just a repeat of its predecessor.
