Yes, after initial excitement and enthusiasm I have to admit that one has got bored with it very quickly and it's certainly not up to any of their best.
Whereas I will gladly still listen to 'comeback' singles such as Sound of the Crowd, All I Ever Wanted or even The Lebanon, this one is frankly very disappointing.
Indeed, let's hope for better on the album.

Heard there new song "Never Let Me Go" on the BBC 6 music show & I didn't like it that much. The two singles aren't really filling me with any great anticipation of the new album coming out which is a first for The Human League.

As an opposite aside; I bought the limited edition 12" version and it re-fired my interest. I still think Night People holds up - maybe it's because it's such a big, wide, Technicolor disco-number it's incredibly infectious. I love the film/video - whatever modern parlance for 'music video' is also.

I loved Night People when I first heard it but have avoided over playing it whilst I await the album. So I certainly havn't got bored with it.

I think it stands comparisons with the older stuff.

Yes, absolutely.

Another aspect relating it to the older stuff is the lyrics, which are deliberately stupid and hilarious - takes me right back to Empire State Human or The Black Hit of Space.

The more I play it, the better it gets...

Nah.

Sorry all. If there's a choice, I'll leave it thanks.

It means nothing to me. Meh (*shrug*)

I like it. I think is good silly, cheesy fun.

Note I only watched the video once when it first came out and once just now. I probably wouldn't want to hear it constantly but I don't think it is intended for serious listening.

I've just heard Never Let Me Go for the first time.

Disappointing.

Sorry to say but it seems Credo might well be a 'try before you buy' kind of release.

Then again THL have never made the best choices for single releases, so maybe there's still hope...
